Sports Journalist

Fighter introductions on UFC Fight Pass & Krone plus for the Cage Fight Series in Graz, Austria. Weekly TV appearances (until 2023) for KurierTV with 25-minute sports interviews. In addition, sports interviews of a different kind. Highlights: book presentation in the Olympic Museum in Laussane for Michael Payne, the former marketing expert of the IOC, with hundreds of viewers on the livestream. Or spontaneous interviews with IOC President Thomas Bach.

Started a podcast in 2020 to support martial arts (Boxing, MMA, BJJ, Wrestling, Muay Thai etc.) in Austria. Since then, episodes have been published every Monday - without interruption until today. Interviews und episodes are performed, recorded, produced, edited and published by myself. Some are between 20-30 minutes long (p.ex.: interviews at fight events) and other interviews last between 60 minutes to 2.5 hours.

From 2021 to 2023 editor of the Austrian newspaper Kurier. Weekly articles in print and online (in German). Furthermore, articles for the International Association of Sports Journalists (AIPS) in print and online (in English). Since 2023 published articles for FALTER, Red Bulletin, Olympia Report (ÖOC), Österreichische Apotheker Zeitung (ÖAZ), Deine Apotheke (DA) and more.

Gained experience in the radio sector through moderations and programme design at Radio NJoy (now “Radio Radieschen”). One of my radio features won the Sports Media Austria Award in 2020 (more infos under “Awards & Honours”).

Thanks to my passion for film and cinema, I also enjoy being behind the camera. One of my video documentaries won the Sports Media Austria Award in 2021: “The dangers of weight cuts in combat sports”. (You can find more information under “Awards & Honours”).

Since 2023 I have been commentating the SAVAGE martial arts event series in Austria. Each event lasts between four and five hours and is published worldwide via livestream online.

Working as a moderator or speaker at events and conferences is a great honor for me. For example, at Panel discussion for Sport Austria Summit “Expertinnenentagung 2023” or moderation for the Vienna Frauenlauf Marathon Talk, Mondelez, Walter Group, UniCredit Bank Austria etc.

Covering sport events since 2019 for Print, Online and Podcast. Highlights: Olympics 2024 in Paris, Paralympics 2020 in Tokyo, Swimming World Championships 2022 in Budapest and 2023 in Fukuoka, American Football games in Austria, NFL Game Munich 2022 in Germany, Boxing and MMA events all over the world and many more.
